Requirements

To be certified as a Road Safety Professional®, Level 1, you must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Have an accredited bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in transportation, highway safety or public health OR four (4) years’ experience without a degree.
2. Take and attain a passing score on the Road Safety Professional, Level 1 exam; and
3. Have paid the application/examination fee and the three-year certification fee.
