The Refresher Courses are independent of the TPCB certification program and are in no way required for taking the examination or are they the only means for preparing. Individuals taking the refresher courses are in no way given an advantage over students who do not take the courses. While the refresher courses require a separate registration, they are completely optional and are managed entirely by the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
The TPCB certification program is governed by the TPCB Board of Directors, an independent corporation. The TPCB and its staff are solely responsible for the policies and administration of the TPCB program, including application deadlines and qualification requirements.
