TPCB Announces New Board Members

The Board of Directors of the Transportation Professional Certification Board (TPCB) congratulates its newest Board members, elected Discipline Director, Brandon Campbell, P.E., PTOE and appointed Organizational Director Nathan Becknell, P.E. PTOE, PTP. They will join the board January 1, 2023, for three-year terms. The TPCB thanks Eric Shen, P.E., PTP who stood for election as a Discipline Director.

Brandon Campbell has a nearly 20-year career in the transportation profession, dedicating himself to serving the traveling public within both rural and urban communities. He is currently the Smart Mobility Manager at the City of Tampa, FL. In this role, he oversees a wide range of programs, including the city’s Smart Cities Program, ITS, citywide micromobility, the traffic management center, special event planning and operations, among other responsibilities. He has served on numerous transportation committees and is currently the president of ITE’s Greater Tampa Section.

Nathan Becknell is currently a principal at Traffic Engineering Consultants, Inc. and is a 2022 graduate of LeadershipITE. In his nearly 17 years in the transportation profession, he has served both in the private and public sector. During his time with the City of Rogers, AR, he managed multiple municipal improvement projects and served as a representative on the regional Mobility Authority, Policy Committee, and the Transportation Advisory Committee. In his current capacity, he creates traffic network plans for a variety of agencies for a multitude of users, including pedestrians, bicycles, and motorized vehicles.
